Nairobi - Masai Mara
We’ll pick you up early from your Nairobi accommodation and set off on a scenic drive toward the Masai Mara. Along the way, enjoy breathtaking views of the Great Rift Valley escarpment and stop at Narok Town, a cultural hub for the Maasai people. After arriving at your safari camp or lodge, you’ll settle in and enjoy lunch. In the afternoon, we’ll take you on your first game drive, where you can spot elephants, buffalo, giraffes, zebras, and maybe even lions or cheetahs in action. After a day filled with wildlife sightings, relax back at camp with a delicious dinner and overnight stay.
Full-Day Game Drive
Rise early with us for a sunrise game drive when wildlife is most active. Following breakfast, prepare for a full day exploring the Mara’s diverse habitats. We’ll help you track the Big Five—lion, leopard, elephant, rhino, and buffalo—and if you’re visiting during migration season, witness the thrilling Mara River crossings. Enjoy a picnic lunch right in the heart of the reserve before heading back out for more wildlife viewing in the afternoon. Return to camp to unwind, share stories and enjoy a hearty dinner.

Sunrise Game Drive and Return to Nairobi
On your final morning, we’ll take you on a last early game drive to catch any remaining wildlife action. After breakfast at camp, we’ll begin the journey back to Nairobi. En route, stop at Narok Town for souvenirs and cultural mementos before arriving in Nairobi by afternoon, where we’ll transfer you to your hotel or the airport for your onward travel.

The Masai Mara is home to the Big Five (lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, rhino) and an abundance of other wildlife including cheetahs, giraffes, hippos, zebras, and wildebeests. If you travel between July and October, you may also witness the Great Wildebeest Migration, one of nature’s most spectacular events.
The Masai Mara is approximately 270 to 300 kilometers from Nairobi, depending on the entry gate. The drive takes around 5 to 6 hours by road. Alternatively, you can opt for a 45-minute flight from Nairobi to an airstrip within the reserve.
Most 3-day Masai Mara safari packages include transportation from Nairobi, accommodation in lodges or camps, game drives, park entrance fees, and meals. Some packages may also include cultural visits to Maasai villages or optional hot air balloon rides at an extra cost.
